THAWING MUSES

By logic
We are both fine

By logic you are beauty
and beauty will find to be found

By logic I loved and was loved by you
and will love again

Dammed denial
warmed hands in winter
cool sweats of summer
frozen in fall
unable to sing of spring

But by logic I will be co-dependent again.

TO MK
You have to love me to sing me songs
Songs like the ones my mom used to sing to me, you have to love me!
It is a rule, but something like physics too.
It’s something I know, when you don’t and can’t
So I guess we’ll be going with that.
