United we stand, Faith Cheltenham

Did you know me?
No, you knew me.
Unless you know
new me, now;
You will never
know me again.
Then was then.
Now, you know it’s true
I outgrow humans

Future is fun
If you’re past
You’re done
On occasion I might
Allow a second look
John Barrowman
For instance always
gonna be my homie
Even when I’m singing along
With Moms For Liberty

Oh thee I sing
Rich people are fine
It’s not them you need
worry about this summer
But here you go again
Centering them
And here I am again
Disrupting this idea
That anyone is better

Not me who knows everything
Not you who knows so much less
We are all important
And worthy of smiles
And puppies
And everything nice
Including you Suge Knight
Same for Diddy, or did
Million dollar cash settlements,
apologies And rehab
just not mean anything
But did for Shia n Josh Brolin?
The key then is forgiveness
Being independent of skin color
Which is seemingly still
Around the corner

Funny then Id begin writing this
During a doctor who episode
Cause Moffett kept me mad
For a decade and yes sir
I did foster a culture
Against you and many other
Men who abused power casually
I get more now that was not your intent
In fact it was likely opposite
Despite how you casually
grabbed my already drunk water
that time at 2008 Comic Con
But the culture, the clash
Well let’s just say Sherlock
Was a fine choice
For your 19th century kinda ass

We live in this world like
200 years later from Conan Doyle
Where Rodney King
Wanted us to get along
Hear him now and hear me
Can’t we all just get along?

Like people said then
oh he didn’t mean it
And so didn’t he spend decades
Struggling with trauma
And always reminding
He did mean it, and in heaven
he means it real
We can all get along
We can

Grab a hand of any human in emergency
Be the guy who takes down the shooter
Be the hero this country and this world needs too
The guy who catches the baby out of nowhere
The woman who saves the kids just like that
The moms. The dads. The gay uncles!
Me being somewhat supportive of Moffatt!

Even if I don’t talk to none of those people
Here they stay with me forever and ever
And may indeed be contacted if a life can be saved
And then blocked if those same are too busy
Cause most of my life?
You in my past took,
used and enslaved
With my help too often I fear
Thus this limitation
Zero you, all me.

I think it could be fun
For you
to watch
To hear
to vibe with me
Help me select some knickers
Hmmm Yum
So you want to know what
Obama smell like
Or Trump weirdly different
and absolutely glorious
Just decent men, and good dads
Everything isn’t what it seems
That’s always true you know what I mean?

Turn off the news
Smile at a stranger
While always seeking to avoid danger
Are you alone in this world?
Or didn’t I see you jump
in the street to save that dog
running in the middle

All the time most of us
most of us are good
If you believe this
Like Anne Frank did
You’re also with me
And we are with everyone

Now Don’t die helping
Cause then you can’t
but you could help many
Just in little ways
The returned smile
The helpful suggestion
Don’t you see us trying against all odds?

That’s my way too.
And don’t I have some schools
I’ve been working with in Africa
Filled to the brim with kids
Learning and striving
Against every odd

We can thrive
Using what we have collectively
But we just gotta go with us
The ones who help
The ones who believe in human society
So my company is called
XXYYZZ SOCIETY

A place I make for people
Who believe quite simply
We can all get along
In whatever society
to which we do belong
And in a world made perfect for
A united humanity
